Initially, his days in the office consisted of installing fences in the yard and delivering materials part time, but soon after, he quickly took on increased responsibilities and advanced to the sales team. Truly enjoying his work motivates John every day to hit the road eager to serve the area with the best products and personalized service. His favorite aspect of working for Carl's is the ability to travel throughout the region meeting new and different people day to day. He attributes his knowledge of the business to the initial and ongoing training he receives to stay up-to date on the latest products.
Before taking on his current position as Project Manager with Carl's, Vinny I., has owned and operated three successful companies. He always knew he had a passion for design and began working in the field in his teens. He has consistently designed one-of-a-kind projects which have included outdoor spaces, decks, pool houses, and pergolas. He currently owns Structural Pergola Systems, a nationwide outdoor structure system and Carl's is the proud Northeast Distributor. Vinny enjoys working for a well-respected company that is truly invested in providing quality. To up-hold Carl's reputation, Vinny works with the sales team to provide ongoing training on the latest design techniques and products. To him, the best part of his job is the rewarding challenge of designing and creating tailored new projects for each customer.
Rob R. lives and breathes home improvement. Inspired by his father, a builder for Drumpoint Arms and Laurelton Shopping Center, Rob has over 10 years experience as a site supervisor, 10 years experience in fencing, and 40 years experience in sales. Having completed over 5,000 home insurance disaster inspections for Parsons Brinckerhoff, a leading international engineering organization, Rob takes safety and compassion to heart. Every single day at Carl's is different, he says, because each customer and project is unique. When asked what he finds most rewarding about working with Carl's, Rob says it's the unparalleled commitment to personalized customer service. Brent, a graduate of Stockton college, has always has an interest in home improvement after growing up under his grandfather's wing. After developing knowledge and training throughout his youth in construction and renovations, Brent joined Carl's and began assisting in installations. With his advanced background and interest in customer service, Brent transitioned seamlessly into a salesman. In his free time, he enjoys helping his friends and family with their home improvement projects and running a non-profit organization with his brother.
Kevin W. has worked with Carl's for over 15 years. Kevin got his foot in the door with his extensive knowledge of fencing and decking. To expand his capabilities, he has attended numerous home shows and seminars to learn the latest advances in home improvement. This, along with Carl's constant training, has made Kevin an expert in the field. He prides himself on product knowledge along with guidance on all levels. "I love the family atmosphere that Carl's provides," Kevin explains. When he is not in the office, Kevin can be found working on his swing at the golf course.
Joe R., a Rowan University graduate and Carl's salesman, joined the Carl's family in 2005. When asked what has contributed to his success as a salesperson, he strongly believes it began with his early employment with Carl's where he learned home improvement from the ground up. Beginning his career as a yard laborer, Joe quickly advanced to delivery and pick-up of materials/ products. After progressing to fence installations, he was promoted to the sales force. As a result of these promotions, and with the assistance of veteran Carl's associates, Joe gained a solid understanding and appreciation of Carl's home improvement services. When asked what stood out during his years of training, Joe easily chooses customer service. "While many companies promise customer service, very few offer the level or personalized service as Carl's," Joe explains.. During the off-season, you can find Joe enthusiastically educating and coaching the students of Shore Regional High School.
Mike S., a devoted husband and father, began fencing in 1982. After 16 years as a fence installer learning the ground up, Mike developed an interest in customer service and entered the sales world. Joining Carl's in 2013, Mike immediately bonded with the Carl's family and quickly formed friendships with everyone from the sales team, yard workers, to top management. He appreciates doing what he loves, with people he cares about, for the people who deserve it. Mike has enthusiastically completing training in other services area such as windows and decking and is excited to offer home and business owners in the area his knowledge and experience. Mike is best known for coming to work with a smile on his face and bringing that same smile to every home he visits.

What first began as installing decks with his brothers in college, quickly turned into a passion for all things home improvement. John's key to success is in the relationships he builds with his customers. John is dedicated to superior customer service and the local community he serves.
